How To Evolve Gligar In Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Before you can even try to evolve Gligar into Gliscor, you need to have a Gligar first. You can find Gligar on 1 stage in the game which is the Coronet Highlands. Once there, go to either of these 4 areas: Celestica Ruins, Clamberclaw Cliffs, Primeval Grotto, or Cloudcap Pass. Once there, you have to wait until it’s nighttime for Gligar to appear. Be careful though as Gligars have very keen senses and can easily spot the player if they aren’t careful. This denies a quick capture on the unaware Pokémon, but if you have several Ultra Balls ready, it’s still going to be an easy capture. After capturing your Gligar, you need to have a Razor Fang in your inventory. This is one of many evolutionary items in the Pokémon games that pop up. You can get this item in several ways: 1st is through trading using Merit Points. You can only get Merit Points by retrieving Lost Satchels found throughout the world. Play Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Lost Satchel Farming & How To Get Merit Points Quick

Lost Satchels are everywhere on Pokémon Legends: Arceus. For some odd reason, the people in the world just can’t seem to keep hold of their stuff when they travel. Anyhow, you can typically find 4 of them every time you go on any of the game’s stages. Some would be near your spawn location, others would be pretty far off. However, all 4 Lost Satchels will be immediately marked on your map, so it’s only a matter of going to the satchel to retrieve it. However, you can farm Lost Satchels pretty quickly if you’re willing to give the time to do so, and here’s how. Simply go to the stage you want to farm Lost Satchels in. After that, get every single Lost Satchel on the stage, then return to the main hub of the game. Immediately after returning, go back to the map you want to farm Lost Satchels on again. This is because the game resets itself and creates 4 Lost Satchels for the player to find when they return to the hub. Once the reset is finished, the moment they return to any of the game’s map stages, they get another set of 4 Lost Satchels to find. All in all, the 4 Satchels can give you a minimum of 200 to 400 Merit Points per run. That’s a gain of 50 to 100 Merit Points per satchel, a decent haul. You need around 1400 Merit Points to obtain a Razor Fang from Simona’s item trade in Jubilife Village.

Other Ways To Get Razor Fang & Other Evolutionary Items

There are, however, other methods to getting Razor Fangs and the other items required to evolve certain Pokémon. Specifically, Space-Time Distortions. These events typically happen in the game’s various map stages and it’s here where you can get rare Pokémon and items. If you’re lucky, you can get Razor Fangs, evolution stones, and more if you catch these Space-Time Distortions in time. Anyhow, once you’ve obtained a Razor Fang, give the item to Gligar during nighttime. A prompt will appear that states Gligar is ready to evolve. Select that, and Gligar will immediately evolve into a Gliscor.

How To Evolve Gligar In Other Pokémon Games

Of course, Pokémon Legends: Arceus isn’t the only Pokémon game that you’ll probably play. There are other Pokémon games where Gligar makes an appearance and we’ll go over how to evolve them in those games here. Specifically, on standard Pokémon games like Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, and Pokémon Go.

Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl & Standard Pokémon Games

From Generation 4 onwards, Gligar requires a Razor Fang to evolve into Gliscor. However, the method of doing this is different when compared to Legends Arceus. Specifically, you need Gligar to hold a Razor Fang while he’s leveled up at nighttime. Once this occurs, Gligar will immediately evolve into a Gliscor.

Pokémon Go

Pokémon Go has a different method of evolving Gligar into Gliscor. Specifically, the use of Candies and Sinnoh Stones. A Pokémon Go player needs to get 100 Candies fed to Gligar and give him a Sinnoh Stone to evolve into Gliscor.
