Prime membership plans are pretty straightforward, but there are special plans for certain individuals like students. You can sign up for a monthly or a discounted yearly membership.

Monthly Prime membership costs around $12 a month. It will be charged on the day of the month when you signed up.  

Yearly

If you want to pay for your membership for the whole year, you can sign up for an annual subscription for around $100 per year.

If you are a student in the United States, you may be eligible for a student plan, which is discounted.

If it’s your first time signing up for Prime, you can do a six-month free trial of a Prime Student membership after which will be around $6 a month. You will get the same benefits as any Prime members with some limitations like household membership sharing. To be eligible, you would need to enter your university’s information as well as your graduation year.

  You can also charge it to your personal checking account. Simply add your banking information like your routing number and account number. If your bank is not in the US, you can still use your checking account, but it must be Automated Clearing House (ACH)-enabled. Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein (1994)

  Though this is not in order of quality, of course, a film about one of the most popular monsters, Frankenstein’s monster, is on the top of our list. While the film is based on a book, which is a subcategory on this list, we thought this is the genre that fits it best. Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein is about an artificial but sentient man created by the scientist, Victor Frankenstein. The story takes a turn for the worse when Victor ultimately rejects the creature who then escapes and plots his revenge. Directed by Kenneth Branagh, the movie stars Robert De Niro and Helena Bonham Carter, and Branagh himself. Child’s Play (2019)

Even if you haven’t seen the movie, it is highly likely you’ve seen trailers and memes about the devilish doll, Chuckie. This movie is a remake of the original 1988 film but still earned a pretty good rating on Prime. It’s about a story of a boy who was given a popular doll by his mother, only for them to find out that it was being possessed by the spirit of a sinister serial killer. Labyrinth (1986)

Directed by the renowned puppet master, Jim Henson, Labyrinth unravels the story of a teenage girl, Sarah, who wished for her stepbrother to be taken away by the Goblin King, played by David Bowie. She then sets out to find and rescue him and experiences an awareness of love and responsibility along the way. As the title suggests, the Goblin King has hidden the little boy, Toby, in the middle of a labyrinth. Sarah is now on a ticking clock to get him. With the help of friends she meets along the way, they set out to find Toby in the Labyrinth. Whether they can rescue him or not remains to be seen. The Host (2006)

  Even before his international break, Parasite director Bong Joon Ho has been making extraordinarily compelling horror films. While the movie can be considered a sci-fi horror, it focuses on a vicious squid monster that emerges from the Han River in Seoul. The Shining (1980)

What can we say? King has written quite a number of horror novels over the years and Secret Window is a movie based on yet another one of them. It tells the story of a writer, Mort Rainey, who is going through a messy divorce. He retreats to his lake house only to be harassed by a stalker who calls himself a scribe, accusing him of plagiarism. While it seems like a minor inconvenience, unusually creepy things begin to happen. Mort finds his dog dead and people around him also start dying.
